Richard centric
[edit]I don't get why this isn't considered Richard centric when "Jughead" is considered "Desmond centric". He's the only character who appears in both time periods (the usual basis for a "centric" definition, up until this season) and he's pretty much the main one in 2007.MultipleTom (talk) 20:03, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- This is a tough one to call. I believe that it falls into the no-centric category with "Because You Left" and "Namaste". Yes, there are characters in each of those episodes who had more screentime than others, but there was no clear focus on one character that developed in the episode. "Jughead" opened with a Desmond scene that was unrelated to the rest of the episode, a trend early this season to signify the main character. Richard had the most screentime in "Follow the Leader", but he was not the clear main character in either of his storylines and the centricity is more falling to him by default. –thedemonhog talk • edits 21:43, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- And "Namaste" isn't Frank-centric??? MultipleTom (talk) 21:06, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
- You think "Namaste" is Frank-centric? At least a case can be made for Richard having the most screentime in "Follow the Leader", whereas Frank appeared in only one of the two storylines and had fewer lines than Sawyer. –thedemonhog talk • edits 23:01, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
- But it is. He opens the episode and all the present-day scenes revolve around him. MultipleTom (talk) 09:55, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- "Present-day", sure. –thedemonhog talk • edits 12:18, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- But the same is true of Desmond in "Jughead". :) MultipleTom (talk) 20:18, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
