Needs to be fixed

[edit]

This article needs to be fixed. Many of the subjective adjectives should be removed. Also several basic facts should be added. For one, how old is the festival now? Blondeonblonde 01:13, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've done some work with fact-providing, although I'm sure there's still plenty of work that could be done. In particular, a few more pictures would be nice - the opening ceremonies, and maybe one of the mascot? Nikkimaria 01:19, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to add here that there is no mention of the Mexican Pavilion? Kazamundo (talk) 01:30, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I grew up in Winnipeg and went to Folklorama in the late 70's and early 80's. Instead of selling tickets to each pavilion, they sold "passports" that gained you entry into each pavilion twice. After each visit, your passport was stamped. I don't know if they still do this but I think it's worth mentioning. It was a memorable part of the whole experience and I remember comparing passports with my friends to see who went where and share opinions on the best ones to visit.
