Rick Loomis didn't leave the Army 'til 1970. The company started not during that year but in 1972. I hereby amend. Tribune 20:27, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
Verification?
[edit]What's wrong with sources from the company's own web site? That's a primary source! I agree that if we had some independent source, that would be better, but their's nothing wrong with citing the actual stated history of the company being profiled, so in any case please leave the links there. -- Kaszeta 13:23, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
The History of Play-by-Mail and Flying Buffalo
[edit][1] (see page 2) - quite interesting and perhaps useful to extent the article. -- mkrohn 23:36, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Inc. versus Incorporated
[edit]I changed the naming convention in the lede from "Flying Buffalo Incorporated" to "Flying Buffalo Inc." since their website uses the latter and it does not appear that they are incorporated. It seems like Rick Loomis just took on the "Inc." as part of the company name.
I could be wrong, and if so, feel free to revert and point it out. Airborne84 (talk) 00:26, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
Separate Company
[edit]Should the separate company link be referenced in the article instead of just Rick Loomis PBM Games? http://rickloomispbm.com/ Jokem (talk) 18:19, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
- Jokem, external links shouldn't normally go inline in the text, but I think it would be OK to add it as a reference in the External links section at the end. Airborne84 (talk) 01:59, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
This is why I added in the talk page first. I will try my hand at putting in as a reference. OK, I tried putting the reference in, but either I cannot recall how this is done, or the manner in which this is done has changed. OK, I managed to do something, please check it out and see if I stepped on any rules. Jokem (talk) 06:47, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- Jokem, thanks. I moved the URL from the lead to External links since the lead doesn't require citations. Material there should simply reflect cited info in the main body and the Rick Loomis PBM info is noted (and cited) in the main body. I expanded the URL into a full citation using a template for consistency. Thanks for your interest. Airborne84 (talk) 21:56, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- Airborne - I don't understand what you did. When I click the link, it goes to a Rolling for Initiative link, which is the second entry in the external links. Both links go to the same place. Jokem (talk) 02:15, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
- My mistake. It's good now. Airborne84 (talk) 04:17, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
