This does not look like original research to me, it looks like a standard overview of how fly rods are constructed --Zven 03:47, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The articles needs smoother writing, and some expansion to note variations in the practice of custom rod building, but it certainly shows know evidence of original research. JStripes 16:31, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
