Fluorescence lifetimes wrong
[edit]I'm not an expert in this stuff, but I do know my statistical physics. The single exponential decay would be a limiting case only. - If there are parallel observable decays, you would get a sum of exponentials. - If there are serial decays, you can get differences of exponentials (depends on which part of the pathways is fluorescent).
So the statement in this section seems wrong, and should be corrected, or conditions for this approximation mentioned.
