Double single confusion
[edit]User:JustDoItFettyg User:Jimmio78 there's been some disagreement between the three of us about what to call the single containing the tracks "Who Dat Boy" and "911 / Mr. Lonely". I am now of the opinion that Jimmio78 is correct in that the single is titled "Who Dat Boy / 911". This is how it is referred to on Spotify, iTunes, and by Tyler himself, including the single art: [1]. According to Single (music), "despite being referred to as a single, singles can include up to as many as three tracks on them." As such, references in the article to "double" or "dual" singles are erroneous, as it is a single with two songs. My next edit will reflect this view. Cjhard (talk) 01:03, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
Label
[edit]Can't find anywhere suggesting that this album is released under the Odd Future label. Any cites? DAYTALK 23:24, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Daylon124: I don't see sources says it was released on Odd Future Records, only Columbia Records. So I remove it. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 18:51, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
Linking of a phrase
[edit]@Aitch & Aitch Aitch: After talking to another editor. I decided to restore the edit, but however I don't think "Black lives matter" should not be linked because the rapper seems to be expressing it as a phrase rather than referring to the activist movement. This Isn't What The Search Engines Should Be Finding
[edit]A flower boy is a Korean pretty boy. They have a whole rom-com sub-genre evolving around flower boys in Korean dramasa. It has nothing to do with that rapper, and is far bigger than him, as I never heard of him before. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.22.218.45 (talk) 03:32, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
- Might you be looking for Flower Boy Dating Agency? As that series is titled under a different name, this article is simply Flower Boy, not Flower Boy (album) or Flower Boy (Tyler, the Creator album). TheCartoonEditor(he/him/they) (talk) (contribs) 13:07, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
Full title
[edit]When did "Flower Boy" become the official title and "Scum Fuck Flower Boy" a longer, alternative title? When it came out they were flipped, with "Flower Boy" being a shorthand colloquial title for use in polite company. 144.121.150.162 (talk) 17:38, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
