Move back

No consensus to move. Vegaswikian (talk) 03:06, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
Florida–Miami football rivalry → War Canoe Trophy – No such thing as "standard naming conventions", move was made without consensus and should be moved back to original title Purplebackpack89≈≈≈≈ 00:47, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
- Purpleback, the War Canoe Trophy has been retired by the University of Miami, and they are keeping it. The trophy has not traveled since 1987, and was literally rescued from the junk pile several years ago. The rivalry has never been known as the "Battle for the War Canoe," or anything similar based on the former trophy name. A redirect from "War Canoe Trophy" to the new article name was created at the time of the move. The "Florida–Miami football rivalry" is the most appropriate name for this article. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 01:23, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose move, per Dirtlawyer1's arguments. Jweiss11 (talk) 03:46, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
