Per capita income
[edit]The per capita income figure appears to be off by a factor of approximately 10. It is grossly in excess of the median figures for all groups stated. I have no idea as to the correct figure.
Thank you for your time and effort.

Floral Park, New York → Floral Park village, New York – Per US gov census dxneo (talk) 17:49, 26 December 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). dxneo (talk) 20:57, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. The listings on the US Census Bureau web site uses the naming convention of [Placename] [Settlement type], [State], which is not common in standard American English. For example, you get Los Angeles city, California, Chicago city, Illinois, and Washington city, District of Columbia. And for census-designated places (CDP), you get listings like Arlington CDP, Virginia and Paradise CDP, Nevada. Likewise, other villages like Floral Park are listed in that format, such as Key Biscayne village, Florida, Milford village, Michigan and Menomonee Falls village, Wisconsin. What looks really weird to me are listings for cities like Kansas City city, Missouri and Oklahoma City city, Oklahoma, where the US Census Bureau's convention causes it to list "city" twice, the first instance as part of those cities' names and the second instance for the settlement type. Better to stick to the WP:USPLACE guidelines and the common [Placename], [State] convention than what the US Census Bureau web site is doing. Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:17, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per above, shouldn't follow WP:OFFICIALNAMES, but WP:COMMONNAME, with no evidence the proposed is, while being unlikely to be such, are sources using "Floral Park village" over "Floral Park"? Nonetheless, proposed is less WP:CONCISE. DankJae 01:42, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
- That convention used by the US Census Bureau web site is not even officially used by the cities and settlements themselves. It is usually [Settlement type] of [Placename] like "City of Los Angeles". Zzyzx11 (talk) 02:02, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
