Notability (Removal of proposed deletion flag)
[edit]The subject has had a starring role in one notable movie, and appeared in significant roles in two other notable movies. I believe this satisfies WP:NACTOR as I read it. I'm still pretty new to Wikipedia - but it seems to me that the subject is clearly notable. If the article doesn't clearly establish notability, that's grounds to improve the article, but not to eliminate the subject from Wikipedia. Right? External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Flora Cross. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20081121005316/http://altpress.com/screening/64.htm to http://www.altpress.com/screening/64.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Content moved from article
[edit]I moved the following section, originally titled "Reviews", because it was very promotional in tone, consisting only of laudatory newspaper quotes with no connecting prose:
"The performance by Flora Cross is haunting in its seriousness. She doesn't act out; she acts in. " Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun TImes[1]
"When FLORA CROSS landed her first role in 2005's Bee Season, it was alongside Hollywood heavyweights like Richard Gere and Juliette Binoche. For her role in Margot At The Wedding, an off-color domestic dramedy directed by Noah Baumbach (The Squid And The Whale), Cross shares screen-time with Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jack Black. Not too shabby for a 14-year-old, huh?"[2]
"With the help of clear direction and some excellent acting, especially from Flora Cross in a memorable debut as Eliza, Bee Season is affecting in ways that movies have all but given up trying to be." Kenneth Turan, The Los Angeles Times[3]
"The beating heart of the Naumann family is Eliza (the wonderful Flora Cross), a doleful beauty with bottomless eyes that flutter closed whenever she spells out a word. " Manohla Dargis, The New York Times[4]
"Flora Cross blooms in Season " JANE STEVENSON - Toronto Sun [5]
Flora Cross is featured in Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood Issue.[6]
Her first brush with the public eye occurred as an infant, when she appeared in Vogue Bambini.
