Die Hard Scenario Film?
[edit]This film was labeled by User:Justbecause5 as a part of Category:Die Hard scenario films. I would question this categorization. Die Hard scenarios are characterized by a single person, generally trapped in some kind of single location, who must persevere against a team of villains. While Seagal's Under Siege and its sequel obviously fall into this category, Flight of Fury features a protagonist working with a team of other people, trying to infiltrate INTO a location populated by villains. Both Die Hard and Flight of Fury are action films, but their structure seems completely dissimilar to me. I think this tag needs to be removed. Mr Subtlety (talk) 16:58, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- Please keep in mind that half the time a DHS film (even the Die Hard sequels themselves) isn't even set in one location. Die Hard clones like Under Siege 2 and Speed for instance are not set in just ONE particular place. This movie is a remake of the DHS film Black Thunder (1998) with Michael Dudikoff, which in and of itself is a rehash of Broken Arrow. That's why it is listed here.Justbecause5 (talk) 17:58, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah it seems that the fundamental problem is that the category of "Die Hard Scenario" films is woefully broadly defined and, in fact, is up for deletion. I voted to keep it, but it needs a much narrower criteria. I'll wait til a clearer definition comes on the official category page before I delete this, but I can't imagine the category surviving if it's broad enough to include Flight of Fury.
