What is the policy on unknown abbreviations as main word? FIBC is not anything anyone ever searches on, or extremely seldom anyway, but Big bag or any local translation is used among everyone in the industry in Europe. In my 7 years in transporting, I heard FIBC at a whopping sum of 0 (zero) times but I hauled Big bags every week. --Boongoman 18:31, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
does no one else call these Super Sacks? 66.38.56.124 (talk) 14:20, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

- I recommend a title of "Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container". This is a mouthful but is the proper term; "Big bag" is also commonly used in practice but should be used as a redirect to FIBC. Rlsheehan, June 20, 2007
