Quotes:
- ...Little is known about his personal life except that he was a freelance hitman from the western USA {Cookson Hills} who was hired by black marketeers to eliminate the police detective for a fee at $5000...
- ...Fortunately for Tracy, Flattop stopped just short of doing the deed when he decided to blackmail his employers for an additional $50000...
Did he really try to blackmail his employers for ten times the initial fee? That seems implausible, especially considering he was going for five times his normal rate as it is. My instincts say that this is a typo...can anyone confirm?--Toptomcat 16:20, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- Definitely not a typo. Flattop did indeed blackmail his employers for $50,000 instead of the original $5,000 fee. jtmatbat 9:58, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Picture
[edit]There's a picture in the artcle of Pretty Boy Floyd, who Flattop was largely based on, but not one of Flattop himself. I'd think that there'd be at least one picture of him that can be used here, possibly with the owner's consent. I don't have one myself, but I wanted to point this out in case anybody reading this has access to one.JDZeff (talk) 23:13, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
