How sure are you about 1920 as the flag adoption? Cf. http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/jo_his.html where the same flag as the current one is date 1921, but the star was added only, or so they say, in 1928.
The source quoted for 1920 may be correct, but for the star-less flag variant...

Can’t find an official specification, but images are consistent with CRW being wrong (which doesn’t yet show that Wikipedia is correct). JDAWiseman (talk) 13:37, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
