no — I believe that schools are notable in their own right as significant public institutions, and obviously, many people agree — see, for example, Category:Middle schools in Ottawa. I suspect that someone is trying to promote an agenda here by tagging a lot of schools with deletion tags, even when they've recently passed an AFD. See Glashan Public School for another example. opposed — schools are notable in their own right, as major public institutions that have a lot of employees, affect a lot of people, and cost a lot of money. They beat out most subway stations on all three counts, and subway stations almost always have their own articles. Ditto for small country airports.
