[edit]- Removed Food Project Tag; not a food product. —/Mendaliv/2¢/Δ's/ 21:40, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Please add to the article the conversion factor, i.e. How many tons of fish is needed to produce a ton of Fish meal?

Ecological links
[edit]Perhaps we should mention that the use of fish meal is not essential in the diet of fish ? This was mentioned by Rick Barrows of the Ministry of Agriculture, Bozeman, Montana , USA. ref: NGC magazine, june 2014 KVDP (talk) 11:43, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
COI tag
[edit]Tzjones, an editor who works for Saving Seafood (see the editor's user page), a fishing industry trade organization, recently joined WP and has been directly editing this and other articles. I have placed a COI tag on this article. Once an independent editor has reviewed changes made by Tzjones for NPOV and sourcing, the tag can be removed. Please make a note here when you do that. Thanks! Jytdog (talk) 01:10, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
revision
[edit]I was working over this article and just got to the part about the antioxidant Ethoxyquin. per the ref which I just found and was reading,
Błaszczyk A, Augustyniak A, Skolimowski J. Ethoxyquin: An Antioxidant Used in Animal Feed. Int J Food Sci. 2013;2013:585931. Review. PMID: 26904606 PMC 4745505
this at least was a Monsanto product so I am stopping as I have a TBAN that relates to Monsanto. Jytdog (talk) 01:14, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

Citation needed on effects of ethoxyquin on fish
[edit]Not sure how to add a citation. Could someone add this study on negative effects of ethoxyquin on fish: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30324913/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.65.22.29 (talk) 03:07, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
