A note about the List of artworks

[edit]

In the image column of the List of artworks, you might notice that some of the entries say "(No image)" and some are left blank. The entries that say "(No image)" are entries I could not find any evidence of being positively identified by any art historian (yet), and thus there is no image that can be placed there (yet). The entries that are left blank are artworks that have been positively identified by art historians, but that I could not find a free image online for. I left these blank so that should I (or anyone else) find a free image, it could be put into place. In retrospect, I probably should have done this the other way around, leaving unidentified images blank and putting a note in place of a free image for artworks that had been identified. I will probably go through the list at some point and change this. GranCavallo (talk) 16:30, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, so I have made those changes. For images that have not been identified, the image column has been left blank, just like all other types of unknown information. I have also added a note saying "(No free image)" to artworks that have been identified, but only have Non-free images available online. GranCavallo (talk) 18:31, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
