Ninetyone please dont get so defensive. Whilst the term law enforcement officer is little used in the UK it does help international surfers understand the role of a fire inspector. As they do eneforce law with as it happens very powerful legislation it is quite accurate to lable them as law enforcement officers serviving the public. That oesnt mean police and i think you should think before making such comments in future, particulalry given you track record in other fire & rescue articles you have contributed to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.155.0.61 (talk) 23:45, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't undo anything - I corrected the spelling, changed some of the red links to blue ones, removed some of the pointless links and categorised the article properly. And nothing was removed except some excess brackets ;) ninety:one 21:41, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

HI Ninetyone according to the history section you have altered some of the text too. Also you removed the links for fire officer which is a slightly different job function to a fire safety inspector and it is important readersd can click on the link and find out more. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.3.194 (talk) 05:21, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PS I will be making new articles relating to some of the links which dont work yet —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.3.194 (talk) 05:24, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

'public Law Enforcement Officer' means absolutely nothing in the United Kingdom, is never used, and at best can only be taken to imply some sort of connection with the police. ninety:one 19:16, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
