Dangers of original research
[edit]Editors put a lot of work into this article. It does not appear that much of that effort was devoted to ensuring that the content was verifiable. To fill the page, it seems as if some claims were cut from whole cloth, to wit:
"In most other countries, fire chiefs are rarely assigned their own marked vehicles, but instead use unmarked vehicles.
In 98 countries, unmarked cars are the preference for fire chiefs. Hmm. In Japan, they have red command vans. In Germany, red fire brigade cars (SUVs). In France the red cars say "Pompiers." In Mexico, white cars with red tops and a logo. Of course, if in most countries they really were unmarked, then we'd never know. Rhadow (talk) 18:56, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
