One hazard of having an article with a long and involved plot summary is that contributors tend to think that is enough. It is not. Compare this article to the article about the novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. That article's plot summary is shorter and more to the point, with 5 short paragraphs taking up about 25 lines on my screen, yet amounts to less than 5% of the total article. I am not saying that only 5% of an article should be a plot summary, but there is so much more that could be written about this particular book. The Teachers Guide would be one place to start, as would Baen's webpage about the book. While the Manual of Style has lots of advice about writing about fiction, it seems development of this article has stalled after November 2012. Inserting some headings from an article template for a novel might help, as would applying the advice in the essays How to write a plot summary and Plot-only description of fictional works. - 02:26, 21 November 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.57.244.234 (talk)
