Title. Anyone share these conclusions having read the article? VineFynn (talk) 06:52, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Harriwho's edit for "factual accuracy and context" raises my eyebrows. I think reverting it would be advisable given the damage it did to the POV of the article.VineFynn (talk) 07:06, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, in general the readability isn't great and has too many terms that aren't explained. The entire "progress" section should not exist in its current form. Seaann (talk) 21:19, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm (slowly) putting together some sources for a substantial rewrite. I envisage a significantly shorter, but far more compliant, article that can then be expanded in a more policy-aware way. We have here the unfortunate combination of a politically-fraught topic with a low-traffic area of Wikipedia that makes introducing POV material both likely and difficult to detect. Rescue in a high rise apartments

[edit]

Just looking at the rescue service in the American fire in the 15 storey building this week, I'm amazed there isn't a better way to get people down. It took the fireman so long to bring a child down. A better way would be to develop a slide attached to the ladder going away from the side and drop the rescued on it and let them slide down to the ground onto an inflated bed. This way fireman can rescue a number of people in trouble. Our cities have high rises and this would greatly improve the safety in case of fire. Thank you for your consideration. On the scanner I use, I hear PT7A and PT7B. Does anyone know if that station has two PTs or a pumper and a Pumper Tanker 58.105.121.135 (talk) 10:43, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
