POV
[edit]To call it "disturbing" is a bit POV, don't you think?
Guess What?
[edit]Chech out pink floyd-empty spaces (listen closely!) He says: "Congratulations. You have discovered the secret message. Please send your answer to the old pink, care of the funny farm, Chalfont."

Thanks to whomever provided the forward and reverse audio -- that's a rather nice feature for a multimedia encyclopedia entry on an unusual song. Thanks! 66.17.105.226 19:44, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Is the listed book the source for the claim that Bev Bevan's voice was used for the backwards message? And do we have confirmation from anywhere else? Because I was told years ago it was Valentine Dyall and it sure sounds just like him. --Jay (Histrion) (talk • contribs) 22:26, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
?
[edit]How come there's a certain song that they play on classic rock radio stations that is called "Fire On High by ELO" but sounds completely different? — Ultor_Solis • T 16:57, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
It may be the Remasterd version or the version used on that ride. Its also possible the station reversed the audio so it made sense. 71.76.200.229 03:30, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
I had the same problem, only I never heard the name of the song, so I thought it was a different song. I spent about two years figuring out what song it was (the group was obvious, but no one knew what song I was talking about). I did not figure out that it was "Fire on High" until just tonight, when the radio station I was listening to played it with the intro (that I had not heard before), which is completely different from rest of the song. The article only talks about the intro and the song's uses in pop culture, but not about the main part of the song, which threw me off entirely.--Ninjaryu (talk) 05:47, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
What do you guys think about the detail of the rides in the article? I think it kinda turns the article into something that's more about the ride than this great song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.22.200.89 (talk) 05:21, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
I personally think it is awesome that it was included! I used to ask the DJ at Funtown what the song was and would forget by the time I got home. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.225.161.169 (talk) 20:54, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

they don't know about the gyrosphere..
[edit]The Gyrosphere at Seabreeze Park in Rochester, New York, was another indoor scrambler that used this track from as early as the late 70s to the early 2000s. B137 (talk) 23:44, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
