Frisian or Danish?

Finn may be a "common Danish name" but the events described in the article come from Beowulf. The "Frisians" of the "Frisian Ambush" have nothing to do with the Netherlands, however. These Frisians were tribal and predated the Netherlands by about 1000 years or more.

Curiously, his name would seem to be Fin. The form Finne is dative; Finnes is genitive. Nominative and accusative seem to be Fin (e.g. Klaeber) Vince Calegon 11:46, 7 April 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vince Calegon (talk • contribs)
