The original author should turn the inline references (all incomplete) into real references, preferably as footnotes, that include the complete citation for each. It is evident that sources exist, since he or she cites them, but only by the year and author's name instead of providing the complete information a proper citation requires. History section seems very narrow focused
[edit]The history section seems to have been lifted from some paper by Tiwari et al. (note the "we") and apparently covers the work of only one group working with this method. That section needs to be rewritten and expanded to give a more balanced view of research on these methods (which go back decades if not centuries). --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 19:24, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
Removed advertisement
[edit]In external links, there was link to nogrid.com without even showing name of that code in the text ("The first commercial code for FPS" or such), so I removed it as per WP:PROMOTION. 78.108.102.144 (talk) 11:04, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
