"serious fingerboarding"
Minor stylistic point but does anyone else object to the use of the phrase "serious fingerboarding".
Doesn't that phrase contradict itself? Like 'happy Monday'?
- Oh, please. That little "contradiction" thing is not funny. Check out the Blackriver Ramps link at the bottom and you'll see some serious fingerboarders. Supercraft99 00:52, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, if nothing else there are fingerboarders who own the companies or work for them and it's hard to believe there aren't professional skateboarder who utilize this equipment in some fashion. Benjiboi 20:02, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
fingerboard professionals
My gut feeling is that this hooey. What company is going to pay someone to do this as a full time job? Do they have comps or how is it they earn their money? Because amateurs will upload their fingerboarding videos to YouTube for free. Google does not know these names, except for 2 which are in dutch or some similar language. I'm not trying to be trollish, I really doubt the validity of the claims. JohnCub 23:42, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
Your gut feeling is totally wrong. Go to blackriverramps.com or berlinwood.de. www.techdeck.com on the forum has all these professinal fingerboarders that win thousands in contests. Research before you post. tom-da-bomb 8 June 2007
- Article didn't, at the time, portray that this was a developed hobby, there does seem to be a strong possibility for professionals to exist. Benjiboi 04:09, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
