Theory Behind "Ideal Fineness Ratio"

[edit]

I would like to see a section on why the ideal fineness ratio is 3 to 4. Thanks very much. =) 75.18.124.152 (talk) 07:38, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

All we need is references and it can be added. Do you know of any? - Ahunt (talk) 11:13, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I might be a little bit late but I hope this helps. --TerrainAhead (talk) 13:13, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Good find on that ref. It is a good thing that the article doesn't say that the ideal fineness ratio is 3 to 4, as the ref makes it clear that the subject is more complex than that. Let me see if I can add a bit from the ref. - Ahunt (talk) 13:37, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
 Done - Ahunt (talk) 13:49, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
