I say NO, because
- these are 2 different things
- there is plenty of relevant material writable to fill an article for each subject
- given time the articles will get written. Wiki can be very slow, but it does get there. I say let it.

Capacitor filter consists of a capacitor placed across the rectifier output and in parallel with the load RL.
