relationhsip of the major contributor
[edit]Hello There. I am not a major contributor, I am the author. Have no personal or business interest in the article or the Filipino Plaza itself. The place has been there i since 1985 and deserves recognition. We are proposing improvements after 25 years of no activity. Please be considerate. It deserves a page in your site. Thank you.<Jayrazon (talk) 20:03, 3 October 2010 (UTC)> —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jayrazon (talk • contribs) 19:57, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- As author, you are a major contributor to the article.
- You previously cited an article which is about this Wikipedia article, featuring an interview with...Jay Razon.[1]
- Clearly, you have a conflict of interest, so please respect those guidelines. Chzz ► 22:12, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Geoff Meggs Article
[edit]Hello. With due respect, this is a Councilor of City of Vancouver, and I disagree that his website cannot be trusted. Vancouver hosted recently the 2010 Winter Olympics, and I just dont understand why you will doubt him. Please be considerate. Thank you. <Jayrazon (talk) 20:03, 3 October 2010 (UTC)>—Preceding unsigned comment added by Jayrazon (talk • contribs) 20:01, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- I assume you mean this part;
A distinctive logo mounted on an arch, visible when standing in front of the park is the Sarimanok which is a Filipino mythical bird that symbolizes golden harvest and good fortunes in the Philippines.<ref name="geoffmeggs1">{{cite web|url=http://www.geoffmeggs.ca/2010/09/19/new-generation-of-filipino-community-leaders-commits-to-renew-pinoy-plaza/ |title=New generation of Filipino community leaders commits to renew Pinoy Plaza — Geoff Meggs |publisher=Geoffmeggs.ca |date= |accessdate=2010-09-29}}</ref>
- That website makes no mention of the bird, as far as I can see.
- What it does mention is that Jay Razon and Jojo Quimpo are collaborating to lead the work on the Fiesta and the Plaza. - yet you insist that there is no conflict of interest.
- I've removed the above from the article, pending appropriate references. Please discuss any suggestions here. Chzz ► 22:38, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
conflict of interest
[edit]Mr. Editor. If you have notice, I deleted all the names and the title to avoid having conflict of interest and promoting "friends." IF this acceptable, please delete the ORPHAN label, please. or Let me know what else can I do. I cannot find additional references to support the article. Thank you. P.S. If you still have issues with the word "myhtical bird," please let nme know and I will delete it too. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jayrazon (talk • contribs) 23:02, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
