The following text from the article is confusing:
- These papillae are mechanical and not involved in gustation covering most of the dorsal (top).
This sentence is, at best, confusing. Do the papillae or does gustation cover the top? "The dorsal" is incoherent, as "dorsal" is an adjective, not a noun.
- Characterized increased keratinization.
This is not even a sentence. It is completely incoherent.
- papillae (projections)
This one barely qualifies as a sentence fragment.
As currently written, the introduction to this article is a mess. Unfortunately, I don't have any expertise in this area and am not sure how to correct these errors. I could fill out the fragments into complete sentences (e.g., "They are characterized by increased keratinization."), but I could not stand behind the resulting sentences.
