Notability
For Piotrus: Here are three examples of notable coverage of Fiksu.
3 Secrets for Growing From $1 Million to $100 Million in 3.5 Years
- 3 Secrets for Growing From $1 Million to $100 Million in 3.5 Years by Peter Cohan in Inc.
- Fiksu sees annual revenue exceed $100M as mobile technology usage surges by Sara Castellanos in Boston Business Journal
- Fiksu’s new indexes show converging iOS and Android app marketing costs in January by Brandy Shaul in Adweek's Social Times
More recent examples include Here’s How Many People Are Still Rocking the Original iPhone by Victor Luckerson in TIME, and while that article is less focused purely on Fiksu, it is entirely built on data provided by the company.
As posted to Piotrus's talk page:
Saw the proposed deletion on Fiksu and wanted to respond. I thought the extensive list of secondary sources cited -- including what should be reliable secondary sources such as Inc. (magazine)., The Boston Globe, The Boston Business Journal, and VentureBeat -- would establish notability? Many of the linked references are substantial pieces of coverage of the company. - Thanks. That's not bad - those articles seem somewhat in-depth, but I am not sure it is enough - the outlets seem relatively niche. I would like to hear a third opinion. I'll list this at WP:3O. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:36, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
- Inc in particular is a pretty mainstream business publication. Would coverage on Bloomberg TV be helpful? Or coverage in the Wall Street Journal's CMO Today section? Snackwell (talk) 14:53, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
About your Third Opinion request: Your request for a 3O has been removed (i.e. denied) because 3O, like all forms of moderated content dispute resolution at Wikipedia require a thorough discussion on the article talk page before requesting assistance with a dispute. I will note that the fact that all three of the proposed sources, above, are {{dead link}}s and are not archived in the Internet Archive does not make the task of determining whether they satisfy the "significant coverage" element of the general notability guideline any easier. - The links work now - my markup mistake included a pipe in the URL. Snackwell (talk) 14:53, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. I am restoring notability tag until such a point that a third opinion is provided by a neutral party. Sadly, 3O was declined, and given our backlog in reviewing notability, I can only hope someone else will comment here by the end of this decade. You are welcome to try to canvass another reviewer, I'd be totally fine with that (as long as they are an established, non-SPA/COI editor).
