Napoleon and large wheels
[edit]The use of large-wheeled field carriages is attributed to Napoleon, but surely such carriages were in use earlier in the 18th century?

155mm and 152mm the global standards?
[edit]I should expect there to be are vast, vast numbers of ex-Soviet 122mm artillery pieces of all types in use around the world, probably considerably outnumbering the 152mm, 155mm, and 105mm pieces combined.
