I think the list would be an easier read if the name of each work was listed first. ChildofMidnight (talk) 05:37, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Potentially unmentioned Merlin story/Literature seems to drift

[edit]

I remember reading a story where it turns out that Merlin had been awakened after aging backwards, is at the time of the story aging forwards again and has amnesia as to having been Merlin, but seems to regain memories as he ages. He quips something about how he attempted to use magic to grow a beard but it turned out purple. Hackwrench (talk) 23:55, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Literature section seems to drift to other nonliterature works. Hackwrench (talk) 23:55, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The literature section should include a reference to Merlin being a character in A. A. Attanasio's Arthor novels.173.243.179.223 (talk) 17:01, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Having a character named Merlin is not the same as being Merlin

[edit]

The item "They're Made Out Of Meat" (under Television) caught my eye. It's a fine story, and the adaptation is excellent (Youtube link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfPdhsP8XjI), but the character Merlin is just a guy in a diner. Merlin appears to be his nickname. Since there's no association with the wizard, I plan to remove that item from the list, unless there are objections. Deleted Kingsman films for the same reason. The character here is just using Merlin as a codename.2001:44B8:3173:2900:E8ED:26F9:BBBD:40E5 (talk) 08:00, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
