What is this condition?

I am writing for an American Hand surgeon, in practice for 30 years. He says that: "The problem I have with this one is that this a diagnosis I have NEVER made. If one searches PubMed for "fibroma of tendon sheath" one currently finds 98 articles, including recent review articles (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=%22fibroma+of+tendon+sheath%22). So there appears to be a body of experts of medicine in a bubble not overlapping your bubble. Given the considerable literature on the topic, it seems fine to have this article, even though you are not familiar with this condition.
