Bolding
[edit]This article has some un-necessary bolding. Usually it's reserved for similar definitions to the topic lacking a wikilink, not as a use for emphasis. -- Natalinasmpf 11:47, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
I cannot understand the reason why the title contents the name of the city and the province (Ferrol, A Coruña). If the reason is to avoid confusion with a little village of USA of the same name I think would be more correct to write "Ferrol, Spain". It can be misleading, it can seem that there is another Ferrol in another province of Spain. I think it should be corrected. --Cedeira 17:54 23 January 2008 (GMT)
Ferrol Sister Cities
[edit]These are the official sister cities of Ferrol:
Adelaide, Australia (2008)
Mondoñedo, Spain (2004)
Lugo, Spain (2000)
Please get it right otherwise why don’t you contact the official website of Adelaide City Council on ipac.adelaidecitycouncil.com?
Thanx in advance!! =]

- Hi Colin. Could you please provide a reliable source to verify that Adelaide and Ferrol have been proclaimed official sister cites? I have searched extensively and have not been able to obtain any evidence to suggest this; the closest information I encountered was that Concello de Ferrol made efforts to establish relations with the Adelaide City Council in December 2007. If they are indeed official sister cities, as you state, there should be no difficulty in sourcing the claim.
- I'd also appreciate if you could outline your issues with the rest of edits instead of performing blanket reverts to them. My edits have only aimed to bring the article into line with standard format.
- Additionally, please do not append {{sprotect}} or similar templates to any article; these are used only when an administrator, such as myself, protects a page. Simply adding the template to a page does not make it protected.--cj | talk 17:16, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Changes
[edit]The first paragraph has an unneeded pipe, should link directly to province of A Coruña.
The official website in the EL section is in Galician, not Spanish. pablohablo. 07:00, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

History section
[edit]I do not understand what the megalitic tomb on the picture has to do with Ferrol, as it is way far from there. In my opinion it could be included in the article "Galicia" as these tombs are a special feature of that region, but not specifically of Ferrol. If the idea was to show some evidence of a remote population, there are several pre-Roman settlements (so called "castros"), such as the Castro of Tralocastro in Esmelle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.90.27.147 (talk) 11:36, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
