Citizenship

[edit]
  • Please stop writing he is Argentinian. To be a NASA civil servant or a NASA astronaut you have to be a US citizen. His NASA bio says so. This is a sourced statement. Hektor 06:05, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • He was an Argentinian by birth who became a naturalized US Citizen. Princess and actress Grace Kelly, opera singer Maria Callas, movie director John Huston, Barbara Hutton (Cary Grant’s ex-wife), and many others were Americans that became naturalized citizens of other countries. Yet, it’s hard to imagine anyone referring to them as “not americans”. Bobcasas1 (talk) 03:12, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Would it be correct to label him under American citizens of Galician origin (Galician-Americans) like Martin Sheen or Jerry Garcia? His father was Galician and so was his mother's father. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.44.105.131 (talk) 21:56, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
