Death year

Is there consensus over his death year? Twice he is stated to have died in 1943 (date unspecified) but the text concludes it was in 1944.Cloptonson (talk) 07:05, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The only source is the Guardian which says 1944, I have amended the article to reflect that. Giant Snowman 11:22, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I notice his article in Hungarian wikipedia, with citation, states decisively that he died in Auschwitz on 8 July 1944.Cloptonson (talk) 10:43, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
