Move proposal
[edit]Feminist history in the United Kingdom → Feminism in the United Kingdom — I think this article should be moved to Feminism in the United Kingdom to match the naming convention of similar articles. The article already defines its scope as including the present day, so there is no reason to limit it to historical events. Better to use the more general title and spin off a more specific article if needed later on. Kaldari (talk) 00:10, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
- Support, I agree. It makes more sense. --Mikitei (talk) 09:47, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

Merger proposal
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result of this discussion was to merge. However, since the discussion started someone boldly redirected the source article, so this consensus is now outdated.NukeofEarl (talk) 17:10, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
I propose that we merge Feminism in 1950s Britain into the 20th century section of this article. I don't think we really need separate articles for each decade of feminism in an individual country, especially since this broader article is still so meager. Kaldari (talk) 00:25, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Intro
[edit]The intro says nothing - currently it's even incorrect so I've corrected it to say at least nothing correctly. This needs a proper intro. Ben Finn (talk) 15:08, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- I tried to clean it up a bit. Kaldari (talk) 00:19, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Copied stuff from History of feminism
[edit]Text and/or other creative content from this version of History of feminism was copied or moved into Feminism in the United Kingdom with this edit. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. |
I've been copy editing History of feminism, and it's a mess. It currently puts undue weight on British feminist history, so I'm moving and duplicating relevant chunks into this article. czar · · 21:44, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
Lacking information
[edit]From 1950s Britain to 21st century there is a severe lack of information regarding feminism. Hope people can contribute — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:388:D000:1600:DC23:FF9E:94E5:3053 (talk) 18:39, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
