Problems of Feminism in Thailand
[edit]Overall, the article is well presented the development of women movements in Thailand. The details of organizations and institutions related to the problems are as well stated. However, the article is still lacking the presentation about the problems of feminism and how it will affect Thai society or, to be precise, Thai women in general. My suggestion is that the article should as well integrate the theories of feminism from literatures to the data, past and current, in order to better analyze the incidence of feminism in Thailand. Another suggestion is that the article should also present the interpretation of information for example, what does it mean in feminism context as Thailand have the first female prime minister.
The article is also lacking the perspective of gender inequality in the labor market. I will create a new page which will focus of the "Gender Inequality in Thailand" and will mainly focus on the labor market.

source chapter prospect
[edit]A source that covers feminism in Thailand looks interesting. It's a chapter by Monica Lindberg Falk in Roces, Mina, & Louise P. Edwards, eds., Women's Movements in Asia: Feminisms and Transnational Activism (London or Oxon: Routledge, pbk. 2010 (ISBN 978-0-415-48703-0)) (ed. Roces assoc. prof., School of History and Philosophy, University of New S. Wales, Sydney, Australia, & ed. Edwards prof. modern China, Univ. of Hong Kong, both per p. [i] & cover IV). If someone has the time and more national expertise than I have, it may be worth adding to this article. Nick Levinson (talk) 22:39, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
