Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, the article is not ready for Good Article status. There are several "citation needed" tags next to paragraphs or sentence that require additional verification. Additionally, the article presents a US-centric view. A global view, addressing all possible aspects of the topic, is required to achieve a neutral point of view. Lastly, the tone of the article should be adjusted to be more impartial and encyclopedic. • If I could add a few comments having reviewed this for DYK:
– The entry should be framed in a way that makes clear why it needs to exist separately from the entry on intersectionality. I believe it should (exist in the encyclopedia), but the prominence of the intersectionality section makes it seem initially like the entry might be redundant, which we should try to avoid.
– Along similar lines, it needs to be clear why this is on “feminism and racism” as opposed to “sexism and racism”. Again I think “feminism and racism” is a worthwhile topic, but it needs to be clear where feminism fits into examples of sexism (feminism isn’t the only possible response to gender discrimination).
– Finally, it needs a copy edit picturing a reader who does not agree with any of the politics of this entry. How would you explain the subject to that person? That is to say, the entry and the lead in particular need to remove any statements that rely on an assumption of shared politics (WP:NPOV). I definitely think this can be achieved, it’s just not there yet.
But as I said at DYK, a very good start, covering a lot of important ground. Innisfree987 (talk) 22:46, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
