I think this article is a repetition
[edit]This article seems VERY similar to the article Federation of Parties of the Mexican People, not just in name but also in listed histories. Both this article and the other article discuss the same person Genovevo de la O, as the leader of their party in either 1945 or 1951 seeking an alternative to the PRI, and both claim to have been the party that competed in the 1952 Mexican general election. I would move that we delete this article in favor of the other article. Also, since the article on the 1952 Mexican general election as of 26 October 2024 links to this party, I will change it to the other article. I would also move for this article to be deleted. 140.141.4.65 (talk) 20:52, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Well spotted. No need to formally delete, anyone can create a redirect forcing this page to point to the other. Is there anything in this article worth moving over before redirection? There is a formal merge process, but given the lack of citations in both articles a redirect looks good to me. Commander Keane (talk) 00:52, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
