Is it a coup or a coup attempt if it was thwarted?

- The usual description of this is "aborted coup"; I realize the error now, and think moving this to February 1986 Reform the Armed Forces Movement coup plot" would be okay. - MistahPeemayer (talk) 12:32, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
