Appointment as Minister of Women's Affairs
[edit]We now have a source that says Barrow "has appointed and reassigned Mrs Fatoumata Tambajang as Minister of Women's Affairs, overseeing the portfolio of the Office of the Vice President". What does that mean? Does that make her the acting vice president? Does that mean that there won't be someone officially appointed as the actual vice president? Since she was "reassigned" to this new post, does that mean that Barrow has given up on the idea of appointing her as vice president? What is "the portfolio of the Office of the Vice President"? —BarrelProof (talk) 23:30, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- The age limit is being abolished, so presumably she will become Vice President whenever it becomes legally possible. I guess this is an interim arrangement. Everyking (talk) 01:14, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
