Article Creation

I have created this article even though it was once deleted. I read the former AFD for this article as existed back in 2009. The two main points that gained the delete votes seemed to be that the film lacked notability since it was not widely reviewed or spoken about on blogs. As was suggested in the debate, this may not be true in the future. Based on what I saw in my searches it is not true today. I came across many reviews of the film and mentions of it on many blogs, some from medical professionals. Additionally, the film is available on both Netfix and Hulu. As time has passed the film seems to be gaining in notability. Qaz (talk) 01:27, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Citation needed for target audience?

I had written that this film was targeted at laypersons and that was tagged as needing a citation. A documentary that presents scientific material with cartoons really needs a citation to prove it was intended for the general public? I was bold and I took down the request for a citation for that. Made for laypersons

"The film makes many controversial claims [3], but, it details the scientific studies that support them [4] and it elucidates the often complex concepts in the scientific controversies it deals with in a way that is targeted to laypersons." Controversial

I removed the word "controversial" and the dead link to Newsweek. I found the real link to the Newsweek article, and it does not use the word "controversial" at all, so it's can't be used as a source for that idea. cybersaga (talk) 15:10, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing Paragraph

I can't make heads or tails of this:

Naughton also questions the use of the body mass index to calculate whether someone is overweight, pointing out that according to the BMI, he himself is considered obese. However, according to the BMI chart for men, at 5'11, 206.5 lbs, Naughton is merely considered overweight; which challenges one of the main premises behind the film that he is considered obese but appears not to be. Naughton's physician tells him that he is obese based on his body fat percentage, which may have led to this confusion.
