Tone

(Hi, I added the template.) Your edit was a substantial improvement—thank you—but you're correct that there are some spots remaining. For example:

This vast area features numerous lakes, rivers teeming with red salmon, diverse wildlife, notably the Alaska brown bear... Compare that to the matter-of-fact tone of the lede of the article about Katmai itself.
encourage positive human-nature interactions through the utilization of live webcams strategically placed along the Brooks River. Simply too many words.

@Ursus arctos californicus I think it's almost fixed, but I'm not sure about the last paragraph in the lede

Beyond its playful competitive aspect, Fat Bear Week also serves to promote bear conservation, cultivate an interest in wildlife, and encourage positive human-nature interactions through the use of live webcams strategically placed at Brooks Falls and along the Brooks River.

Hello, As none of the other years have dedicated sections, I have removed most of the 2023 section. It is in the page history if anyone disagrees.
