Should a namechange be warranted, 'premium' or 'luxury' might be better suited. Chris 03:48, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
The 'feminization' link
[edit]Should probably be reconsidered, as it (as of 24/6-2015) redirects to the sexual fetishist practice, which does not seem to be the meaning of the word in this context.
beige or tan cigarette
[edit]I have been seeing a cigarette with a beige or light tan wrapper. Does anyone know what this is? Chris 15:52, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Historically
[edit]This article states that cigarettes were historically seen as masculine. This is false. The cigarette came about as a feminine tobacco product, a feminization of the cigar. Thus the "ette". Cigarettes may have later become masculinized. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.152.101.69 (talk) 17:09, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
