can someone confirm, im not sure 'deep fascia' as an alternative is correct.

The term "deep fascia" is also called "investing fascia," which is the fascia directly covering a given muscle. I believe Scarpa's Fascia directly adheres to Camper's Fascia (the adipose connective tissue just beneath the skin of the abdomen) and connects to underlying tissue, such as the aponeurosis of the abdomen and the Gallaudet's Fascia, which directly invests the External Oblique mm., making Gallaudet's deep fascia. I do not believe the term is correct when applied to Scarpa's. Also, the article states that Scarpa's is thicker than Camper's, when it is actually thinner. (Scarpa's is membranous, while Camper's is a thicker, adipose connective tissue.) Gordonhovercat (talk) 01:46, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
