Relying on the US Library of Congress, which uses "Mesqali, Farsheed" primarily, two U.S. publishers of ʻAmmū Nawrūz in English rendered the title and name thus:

[1] Uncle New Year ... Farsheed Meskali (Minneapolis MN: Carolrhoda Books, 1972)
[2] Uncle Noruz ... Farsheed Mesqali (Lexington KY: Mazda Publishers, 1983)
