Disambig
[edit](Following this hidden comment in article: "It does not help to add disambig or hndis tags where the page only contains people who share a surname" from Chris the Speller, 03:57, 5 November 2007, with the note "It's a surname article, not a disambig page")
I don't really understand this query, as Farrow is not an article about a surname but is indeed a disambig page, containing both the pig term and names.
The pig term cannot be left out, as a search on the word farrow leads to Farrow without revealing any other occurrences, and there needs to be a safe route to pig.
I think on the whole the current page covers everything simply and clearly. (It would be possible to have other arrangements, such as splitting the name from the pig on nested disambig pages, but personally I think that would be unnecessarily complex for this particular situation.)
It should be laid out as a general disambig page, with "Farrow can mean" at the top, and a "disambig" tag. This would also easily accommodate a future link to a Farrow (surname) article (the "hndis" tag is no longer appropriate, because it's now not just names). --Richard New Forest 09:33, 5 November 2007 (UTC) (Typo corrected --Richard New Forest 12:47, 5 November 2007 (UTC))
- Hmm, that was a long time ago. There's significantly more there now than the surname, so I've changed it to a straight disambig. Mr Potto (talk) 16:40, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
