wasn't this 'restored' by Michalengelo? If someone knows more details, I think it would be notable.

How big is it?!

[edit]

Article says it's 'massive', but no dimensions are cited! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.217.55.102 (talk) 10:44, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added notes on the original and current size and mass of the sculpture, along with a couple of refs. Rt3368 (talk) 03:15, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Needs some clean up

[edit]

I think that short of some kind of mention of this work's 18th and 19th century artistic reassessment (including that due to its substantial degree of restoration), the information is pretty okay. I fixed the Haskell reference and added the Monaco reference. Nevertheless, the content and citations could use a further shape-up. Rt3368 (talk) 03:15, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Largest "single" (?) sculpture from "antiquity" (?)

[edit]

Needs more specificity. What about Egyptian colossus? Massive Bhuddahs? Does it refer to a sculpture from a single block of marble? Jp1008 (talk) 19:48, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
