Is there a source for this phrasing?

[edit]

Under the section "Early Life", there is a sentence that reads "Orphaned at age 12, she worked as a flower girl until she was seduced by John Spencer, a grandson of John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough." I was wondering if this is directly attributable to a specific source (None is given for that specific sentence) or if it is being paraphrased, because in the case of the latter it seems incorrect to describe a 33 year old noble and parliamentarian raping a 12/13 year old orphan as "being seduced". I understand that how we conceptualize things has changed, hence asking if this is the language of a contemporary source or not. Tinilmambor (talk) 07:06, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
