Hello

I want to add www.brice.nl (site is in English) to the external links. But since this website is owned by my father, and I am the so-called webmaster (I designed it, and by the by, a redesign is coming up in a couple of weeks) I'm not allowed to add this link, as to Wiki's guidelines.

So I hope an unbiased editor might want to take a look at our website and decicde wether the link is appropiate or not.

LuLu Roman?

I don't know for sure, but I think the reference to LuLu Roman as working with Brice on the Baby Snooks Show has to be a mistake. Brice died in 1951 and Roman wasn't even born until 1947. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.164.138.33 (talk) 20:35, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Rose Of Washington Square

The featurette on the DVD edition of this movie based on her life states that she did not win the case against TCF (and the lead actors in it), but it was settled out of court. Also it doesn't mention numbers cut out due to that matter, a fact that would have surely been mentioned in the featurette had it been true? Dollvalley (talk) 23:58, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Marriage dates?

original diff - In the section about her marriages, it says she met Frank White in 1911 and that their marriage only lasted a few days. The box with her bio stats and picture says that she married him in 1910 and that the marriage lasted until 1913. Oscar tie - correction

This article states that Barbra Streisand and Katherine Hepburn were the only tie in Oscar history. I do not think this is true. Is it not correct that in 1931, Wallace Beery (The Champ) and Fredric March (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) tied for Best Actor. In those days, they did not provide two Oscars for a possible tie. The two winners had to share an Oscar. I hope that some years later the Academy provided a separate Oscar for each actor. Mustang58 (talk) 17:12, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Streisand and Hepburn were in fact the only exact tie. Beery and March differed by (don't quote me) 2 votes, which the Academy at that time considered to be too close to split, so they are recorded as having tied. The Academy later changed the rules to recognise only exact ties, of which Streisand and Hepburn were the first and so far the only. -- Jack of Oz ^{[your turn]} 11:24, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Comedian Frank Morgan?

Section Radio says, "...with the half-hour divided between the Snooks sketches and comedian Frank Morgan." The name Frank Morgan is a link to the actor Frank Morgan, who certainly did some comedy performing in the early 1940s with Kay Kyser and elsewhere, but was not known as a comedian later in his career. Is this link correct, or does it refer to another person named Frank Morgan? David Spector (user/talk) 20:14, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

Remember that Morgan had an extensive career on stage prior to the bulk of his film career. A casual look at his entry on IBDB shows him active in musicals, serious and comic parts. And remember that many actors had radio careers of which there is still not a lot of information (either on or off the net). - kosboot (talk) 00:34, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

school

It seems very strange to say that she "dropped out of school" at the age of seventeen. At this time, it would be extremely unusual for a women to be in school at that age, so "dropped out" gives the wrong impression. 90.3.185.101 (talk) 07:19, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
